Obituary

Budden-Decker, Doreen passed away peacefully at Mississauga Trillium Hospital on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in her 63rd year, with her daughter, son, family and friends by her side.

Doreen was the beloved daughter of Olga Budden and the late Francis Budden. Proud Mother of Tanya Campbell (Ashley) and John Decker (Colleen). Cherished Nana of Savannah, Nathan and Ella Decker. Loving Sister of Vaden( Shirley), Barry (Janice), Perry (Marion), Elaine, Beverly and the late Cindy Budden.

Doreen was a loving and caring woman who was always there for her family, friends and co-workers. She was very outgoing with her "down home" personality, a story teller, a listener, and a very warm compassionate lady. Doreen was known to be a very dedicated and hardworking employee. She was well liked by fellow co-workers and customers having worked for many years at Carlton Cards and Walmart. Everyone was drawn to her because her beautiful smile would light up a room. She loved to dance, crochet, go for walks near the lake and had a flair for fashion. She loved getting away with her best friends, going for lunches with her son, spending time at her daughter's country home but most of all she loved her grandchildren's birthday parties and watching them open their gifts.

Doreen's Family will hold many joyful memories close to their hearts and they are thankful that now she is at peace as she reunites in heaven with her beloved sister Cindy and her best friend Nancy.

My deepest condolences! Doreen and I were co-workers for five year at Walmart Canada. When ever I would come to work Doreen’s smile and loving presences would leave me smiling for hours. Her funny stories would have me laughing for days. Doreen was an amazing, loving, caring and kind hearted individual that I loved to be around. She would always be there when I was sad and emotional at work ready to give me advice. Doreen you will be truly missed! Rest In Peace Doreen!

Doreen was such a kind, sweet lady! For this reason you - her children, her mother, her siblings - will always be proud when remembering her. She was a compassionate and humble mother, daughter and sister whose special legacy lives on through each of you. Be strong while you hold on to the intense love she had for each of you. I will always remember her with fondness!

Doreen, I will miss the little chats and times we spent together, as will many others. I always enjoyed time spent with you. You were a bright light that continues to shine, only in a different place.
