Obituary

Norma Elaine Richardson
Passed away peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice (Newmarket) on January 21, 2019 at 91 years of age surrounded by family love. Now reunited with her loving husband and best friend Ron (d. March 2007). Devoted mother to Elaine and Paul and loving mother-in-law of Dennis Culnan and Wendy Richardson. Dearly missed by her grandchildren Stephanie (Ryan) & Victoria Culnan, Daniel (Alex) & Andrew Richardson and Matthew & Curtis Patterson. Beloved sister of Lorna Heathcote and Aunt and friend to many.
Norma and Ron immigrated from England in 1951. They were founders of the Church of St. Stephen, Toronto and she was a founding member of Humber River Regional Hospital Volunteer Association. Special thanks to the Barton Retirement Residence staff & community for a wonderful 11 years, as well as Southlake Hospital, Margaret Bahen Hospice staff and Dr Yuen for exceptional care.

Dearest Elaine and Dennis and all of the family, I offer to you all my deepest and profound condolences on the passing of your beloved mum. She was an amazing lady full of grace and goodness. I loved her dearly and cherished every moment we spoke she was a giving and caring spirit with an abundance of love. I wish that I could have seen her more often at church but illness has kept me from being there. I am so blessed to have known her. Your mum reminded me so much of my grandma. In fact, my grandma also went to St Steven's a long time ago. Perhaps they knew each other. The Heavenly Angels rejoiced when your mum went to Christ. May all of you find peace and comfort in our Lord as He envelops you with His loving and peaceful grace. Forever your loving friend in our Lord. Terry Dranitsaris

My condolence to the family of Norma, she was a wonderful person. She was treasurer of St. Stephen many years ago and very much involved in the life of the church. I can picture her and Ron sitting behind me and my family in church. I feel very privilege to have known Norma.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your sweet Mom I miss Norma's hugs and she always said to me "We have been here the longest" She enjoyed when I dressed up in costumes and laughed when she saw me, bringing me joy. She is greatly missed Rhonda Chartwell Barton
