ZWEEP, Shirley Irene (nee Stevens) passed away at the Margaret Bahen Hospice on Sunday March 3, 2019 in her 70th year. Shirley and her loving, devoted husband Jim had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary along with sons Colin (Dorota), Zachary (Leanne), grandchildren Olivia and Jarvis, sister Carol Atherton (Keith) and brother Geoffrey Stevens (Deborah), predeceased by sister Thelma. Shirley was an active Probus member, avid reader and loved her card and Mah Jongg games. Shirley graduated from Huron Heights Secondary School and had a long and distinguished career in the banking industry. She will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday March 16, 2019 at Roadhouse & Rose 157 Main St. South, Newmarket at 1p.m. with visitation from 12-1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Margaret Bahen Hospice, for their loving care, or Southlake Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
