Obituary for Paul Arthur Taylor
TAYLOR, Paul Arthur
July 24, 1940 - June 5, 2019
After a courageous two year battle with cancer, Paul Taylor passed away at Margaret Bahen Hospice on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, with his loving family by his side.
After 35 years with North York Hydro, Paul retired and he and his beloved wife Irene moved to a wonderful piece of property on Whitestone Lake in Dunchurch, Ontario. Over the last 24 years, many a good time was had with family and friends at "the lake"
Neighbours for most of their lives, Paul and Irene were happily married for 55 years. Paul was the adored Father of Lynn (Glen), Don (Andrea), and Darlene (Jan) and proud Grandpa of Cameron, Rachel, Ashley, Jordan, Olivia and Chloe (aka George). He was the dear son of the late Art and Lorraine Taylor, beloved brother of Jim (Nora) and Suzanne, and fond uncle to Brennan.
Paul will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Aurora Legion, Branch 385 located at 105 Industrial Parkway North, Aurora.
As Paul and Irene had spent the last 24 years living in Dunchurch, a Celebration of Paul’s life will also be held on Sunday, June 23, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion located at 2130 Balsam Road, Dunchurch.
Those who so desire may make a memorial donation in Paul’s memory to Margaret Bahen Hospice (www.myhospice.ca).
