Died peacefully, in her 99th year, Tuesday, January 15 after a short illness. Pre-deceased by her husband Bob (2012) and by her son RD (2017 (Heather). Survived by her beloved children Jean Doan (Glenn), Ted (Margaret) and Pat McIntyre (Bill), and by her grandchildren Jennifer, Barbara, Scott, Lorna and Jesse, as well as great-grandchildren Emma, Nicholas, Meredith, Brendan and Max. Also survived by her sister Jean McCracken (Les) and cousin Ethel Doughty (Jeff) as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins in the UK and in Canada and the US, many of whom she kept in touch with throughout her life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket, on Friday, January 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 26 at 2 p.m. followed by a luncheon.
