CURRAN, (Helen) Nora, passed away peacefully at Newmarket Health Centre on Sunday, December 30, 2018 in her 87th year. Loving wife of Samuel David (Dave) for 64 years. Predeceased by beloved daughter Vivien. Beloved mother of Gary (Marney). Beloved mother-in-law of Wes Brown (Joni). Proud grandmother of Kevin (Becky), Angela (Ian), Stefanie and Trevor, and great grandmother of Derek, Danielle, Hannah, Evelyn and Julianne. Much loved sister-in-law, cousin, and aunt to relatives in Canada, the US, and Northern Ireland, and friend to many. Nora's life centred around her family and church. Nora was a devoted homemaker, taking pride in cooking, baking, letter writing, knitting, helping with church suppers and receptions, singing in the church choir, shopping and giving gifts. She had a radiant smile which she gave her entire life! Special thanks to the staff at Newmarket Health Centre who took such wonderful care of her for the last six years of her life. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, for visitation on Friday, January 4, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, January 5 at 11a.m., followed by a reception.
