Heber Long – Passed away peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge on Sunday January 13, 2019 in his 90th year. Heber was born in 1929 to Louisa and Francis Long, in Champneys East, Trinity Bay District, Newfoundland. Beloved father of Debbie (Jim), Doug, Dianne (Don), Leah, and Cathy (Kyle). Grandfather of Billy-Joe, Brandy, Crystal, Candace, Rikki, Cori, Lindsay, Sarah and Brandon. Great-grandfather of Alycia, James, Kevin, Hope, Parker, Michelle, Daniel, Edwin, Aubrey, Willa, Caleb, Carson and Nova. Brother of the late Robert (Margaret), Lorraine (Norman Randall), Joseph (Sally), Leah, and Emily (George Shears).

Friends may call at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S. in Newmarket on Friday January 18, 2019 from 12:00 till 2:00pm for visitation, followed by a memorial service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada, Salvation Army, or any other charity of your choice.
