Francis “Frank” Joseph Shubat
Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on May 9, 2019. He was the very much loved father of son James, daughter Laura and son Todd. Beloved grandfather of Jessica, Tyler, Kayla, Alexandra, James, Jade and Amanda. Great grandfather to Jillian, Xavier, Malia, Wyatt, Taylynn and Abigail. He will be dearly missed by his surviving sister Evaline and extended family in Croatia. Frank was a retired veteran after serving 22 years with the Canadian Armed Forced and continued his life being of service to others, always with a smile and genuine heart. In lieu of a service the family will be scheduling a Celebration of Life at a later date and forwarding his ashes to surviving family in Croatia as he wished.
