Although Ralph was in Guidance a Huron, over the years he was seconded to teach a course here and there in Science. He never minded sharing his expertise with us young teachers, always accompanied by a "this won't take long", however you had to keep in mind that this did not count the chatting and story that came along with it! In recent years, Ralph was always willing and helpful to offer help and advice with my Beaver and Cubs outings and badge work that included history around the town. We did not learn of his passing until late this week, and were saddened to miss his memorial. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family, and his friends.
